form together with our available Flow Systems a complete environmental control program. 

 

 

 

Advantages:

• No cross contamination from animals of different species in the same room; Cages can be moved safely from the LF bench to other areas (controlled or not controlled) because the isolation stays intact;
• Infection from personnel is no longer possible;
• Different species can be studied in the same room if necessary;
• Experimental infection with different microbes can be studied in the same room.

UNO Micro Isolator Type II

The UNO Micro Isolator Type II is suitable for mouse and is standard equipped

with a s.s. wire lid which is placed on top of the cage.

 

UNO Micro Isolator Type III

The UNO Micro Isolator Type III is suitable for mouse and rat and is standard equipped

with a Polycarbonate cage Type III (15cm high) and a s.s. wire lid which is secured in the

cage by s.s retainers. To enlarge the space in the cage the Micro Isolator Type III can also

be supplied with a UNO cage Type IIIH (18cm high) and/or a 3cm raised wire lid. In this

way a cage high of 21cm can be established.

The so called ONE CAGE SYSTEM* is a 15cm cage with a raised wire lid. If one

or both of these options are required, you need to mention this on your order form.
